Cristian “Puas” Perez continues undefeated record 5-0

Miami, Fla- Cristian “Puas” Perez (5-0) extending his undefeated streak to five by submitting Brian “The Bad Boy” Del Rosario (5-5) by way of rear naked choke at 2:49 in the first round.
The main event of Combate Global’s May 21, 2021 fight card had Perez opening the first round throwing a heavy right had that dropped Del Rosario to the ground.
While on the ground, Perez landed punches and elbows leaving del Rosario defenseless leaving an opening for an opportunity of a rear naked choke.
A bloody del Rosario tapped out.
CO-MAIN EVENT
In the co-main event, both Daniel Matos (6-8) defeated Danny Ramirez (5-3) by way of split decision.
In the first round, both warriors unleashed hard hitting combinations, but in the latter part of the first episode, Ramirez hit a spinning back fight that left Matos bloodied.
In the second round, Ramirez and Matos continued with the same action. But towards the end of the round, Ramirez landed a spinning back elbow.
The judges awarded Matos the victory as Ramirez went into the last round with less energy compared to the earlier rounds.
WOMEN’S BOUT
In a women’s featured bout, Mariel Celiman (1-0) defeated Blanca Marquez (0-1) by way of split decision.
Perez is coming off a 29-second submission victory of Geraldo Almonte back on April 23. The young lightweight is ready for more competition.
The Peruvian/Venezuelan Edir Terry (7-4) finished off his opponent Carlos Puentes Jr. (6-5) by way of TKO (Elbows) at 3:31 in the third round.
Both first and second round featured kicks and punches with Terry surprising Puentes by going for takedowns.
However, Terry worked from the ground and pound where he landed vicious elbows leading referee Alan Abeles to stop the fight.
