Mexico’s Ivan Castillo defeats Marcos Lloreda by Split Decision

Miami, FL– Mexico’s Ivan “Choko” Castillo (21-12) pushed the pace to defeat Marcos Lloreda (10-7) by way of split decision.
First Round
In the first round, both fighters exchanged right from the start. At one point, Lloreda went for the kick, but lost his balance and fell. Castillo went for the attack to take the fight to the ground, but instead both fought in the clinch.
Castillo went for a one two combination which connected. The fight briefly went to the ground but it quickly both fighters went to their feet.
Second Round
Castillo pushed the pace again at the start of the round. Castillo landed a right hook that connected. Towards the end of the round, Castillo finished off with a heavy combination that left Lloreada puzzled.
Third round
At one point, both were in a exchange war. Llored got hit in the chin. Lloreda later went for the takedown where he worked from the ground were the fight ended.
Kaytlin Neil (5-4) defeated Pamela Aguirre (5-4) by way of guillotine choke in the third round 1:59.
Early on, both fighters worked from the clinch. Neil threw knees. Neil looked the stroner of both fighters.
Eventually, the fight went to the ground where Aguirre is comfortable thanks to her jiu jitsu background, but it did not go her way.
Flash forward to the third round, Neil landed knees in the clinch. And, when least expected Neil landed a liver shot that curled Aguirre and the American quickly landed a guillotine choke for the finish.
Trey Waters (4-0) defeated Heriberto Tovar (7-6) by unanimous decision.
Throughout the fight Waters dominated landing combinations. At times, Tovar would through leg kicks to break down Waters; however, it wasn’t enough. Waters would taunt Trovar as he was confident with his combinations.
At one point, Tovar was defenseless, and Waters danced around pinpointing his next target. The judges awarded the fight to Waters.
