Miami, FL– Jose “Froggy” Estrada (7-2) returned to the jaula with a victory defeating Leonardo Morales (10-5) by way of majority decision at CG 2021 July 2.

Estrada last competed in April of 2019 part of Combate 36: Reinas where he defeated Adrian Guzman.

However, Estrada looked determined and ready for action.

First Round

Morales threw a hard right bringing Estrada to the canvas. He later searched for a submission but quickly both fighters got to their feet. Towards the end of the round Estrada

Second round

The round started with Morales striking Estrada, but Froggy followed up with his own arsenal. Estrada connected with a left hook, but Morales composed himself to continue with the fight. Estrada later searched for a rear naked choke; however, Morales defended properly to prevent getting submitted. With just a few seconds left in the last round, Estrada attempted a flashy punch using the cage as leverage.

Third Round

Estrada dominated on the ground. Morales then fought to take the fight to the center of the jaula. But Estrada once again took the fight to the ground.

Ivan Castillo defeated Dumar Roa by way of unanimous decision.

First round

Both fighters exchanged heavy shots with Castillo landing a hard left hook, but Roa managed to make it to the second round.

Second round

Castillo pushed the pace landing shots and working in the clinch. He followed with a combination and suplexed to the canvass Roa, where Castillo continued to dominate. Towards the end of the second round, Castillo seemed to run out of gas, so he went back to his wrestling game.

Third round

Castillo continued to use his wrestling, but his loss of energy was evident. He also connected a one-two combination, but Roa continued to battle. Towards the last seconds, both went head-to-head trading blows but once again Castillo went for a double leg takedown and followed with punches just in time for the bell to ring.

Tommy Aaron defeated Alex Velasco by way of TKO at 1:54 in the first round.

Aaron attacked with a kick knocking Velasco’s air out. He then followed up with heavy hands leaving the referee with no option but to call the fight.
