MIAMI Sept 7, 2023 – COMBATE GLOBAL today announced that it has signed TikTok star and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) prospect, Luis “Pride” Escudero (3-2), to an exclusive multi-fight promotional agreement to compete for the world’s premier Hispanic-focused MMA sports franchise.

The 26-year-old Escudero of Hermosillo, Son., Mexico is slated to make his COMBATE GLOBAL promotional debut on Saturday, Nov. 11 against an opponent to be determined, and will compete in the featherweight (145 pounds) division.

“COMBATE GLOBAL has, for a long time, prided itself in finding the best, new Mexican fight talent and, with Luis Escudero, we believe we have found yet another gem that will light up La Jaula,” said COMBATE GLOBAL Senior Vice President of Operations and Communications, Mike Afromowitz.

To date, Escudero has racked up over 4.3 million followers on TikTok with his MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tutorial videos that he produces and publishes to his page on the popular social media platform.

He recently made more waves on the internet in his sixth professional MMA start by scoring a highlight reel-worthy, flying armbar submission of Venezuela’s Juan Campos, in the first round (1:11) of their matchup on August 25.

The victory was Escudero’s second straight after defeating Hugo Rubio by way of first round (1:38) TKO last October 28.

Escudero will enter a highly competitive, star-studded featherweight division in COMBATE GLOBAL that is populated with the likes of Javier “Blair” Reyes (16-3); Jose “Tiro Loco” Ferreira (11-1); fellow Mexicans Ramiro “El Cachanilla” Jimenez (7-0) and Roberto “El Charro Negro” Romero (8-2-1); and Justin “Slick J” Vazquez (10-3).
