NEW YORK – May 31, 2022 – Combate Global today announced a five-fight Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) lineup for Friday, June 3, live on Paramount Plus (10:30 p.m. ET) from Miami, Fla.
In the featherweight (145 pounds) main event, two battle-tested veterans of the game – Leonardo “Chimmy” Morales (10-6) and Marlon “Deriko Siete” Gonzales (15-5-2) – will face off.
The 29-year-old Morales of Managua, Nicaragua will enter La Jaula, the Combate Global competition cage, for the third time in his career, and look to rebound after a recent skid that has seen him lose by decision in each of his last two fights. The defeats followed a string of three victories that he had produced with three consecutive finishes.
Gonzales is a 30-year-old native resident of Lima, Peru and a veteran of the 2018 “COPA COMBATE” one-night, eight-man tournament. He has earned 8 of his 15 career victories by way of (T)KO or submission and will return to Combate Global for the first time since 2019.
