Miami, Fla- California’s Erick Sanchez (10-6) put a stop to Jordan Beltran’s (11-6) winning streak as he came out on top with a rear naked choke victory at 3:19 in the second round.

The event aired live on Univision with the fight card re-airing in Mexico on Televisa Nueve Saturday June 19, 2021, at 5 p.m. local time.

Early in the fight, Beltran banked on his overhand early in the first round, however, Sanchez’s corner instructed to him not to enter in a brawl.

The original fight card was to feature a bout between Sara Cova and Diana Mendoza and Ivan Tena vs Jorge Juarez, however due to Covid protocols both matches were scratched.

In the second round, Beltran again attempted to land an over right hand, but Sanchez eventually found his way taking his opponent to the ground where searched for a rear naked choke and was successful.

The event will re-air in Mexcio on Televisa Nueve Saturday June 19, 2021 at 5 p.m. local time.

Reyes Junior Cortez defeated Axel Osuna by way of unanimous decision.

In the first round, Cortez landed hammer fists from the guard, but Osuna’s ground game helped search for a submission. Both attempts to finalize an arm bar and a leg lock were unsuccessful.

Moving forward to the second chapter of the fight, Cortez landed an elbow to kickoff the round, which took his foe to the ground. However, both fighters ended up on their feet again were Osuna got his stand-up groove landing pair of heavy shots including a spinning kick to finish the round.

Finally, in the last round Osuna went for a hail mary attempting to land heavy shots to conclude the fight, but he came out short as his rival came out on top in the judges eyes.

Carlos Reyes (2-1) defeated German Orpineda (0-2) by way of unanimous decision.  

In the fight, there were a couple of exchanges, however, Reyes dominance earned him the victory as he used his wrestling and proper transition.

Orpineda searched for submissions on a couple of occasions but was unsuccessful.
