Combate Americas arrives for the first time in Chicago, Illinois, with a fight card filled with the best action of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), but first the competitors had to beat the scale.

The weigh-ins, prior to the Combate Americas event tomorrow, Friday, September 6, at the Cicero Stadium, took place this afternoon.

Seven of the eight fighters who will fight tomorrow made weight without complications, including Daniel Argueta (150.0), who reached the established weight of 150 pounds for his second fight in Combate Americas against Ronny Méndez (151.0).

Mexico’s Marisol Ruelas (118.0) was two pounds over the agreed weight in the female strawweight division (115 lbs) and will face Criszaida Adames (115.0). Ruelas will give 20% of her purse to her opponent.

The Combate Americas event in Chicago will take place tomorrow, Friday, September 6 from the Cicero Stadium, and it will be broadcast live on U.S. television in Spanish through Univision (1 a.m. ET/PT, 12 a.m. CT) and TUDN (1 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. CT / 10 p.m. PT).
