Jesus was attracted to Mixed Martial Arts attracted at an early age, as he considers it a very holistic sport – combining several disciplines. After he started training, his coaches noticed his abilities and invited him to compete.

Jesus turned pro in 2018 after 12 amateur fights.  That was a real tough year for him, as he had to hold job and train at the same time.

In order to focus on his sports career, Jesus decided to take on MMA full time, giving up his job and devoting himself fully to his training.  He believes that fighting in Combate Americas is a great opportunity that he will not miss.
