Thursday’s official weigh-in for “Combate Americas: Tucson Unbreakable, presented by Cricket Wireless”<\/strong><\/a> resulted in all 18 fighters being able to participate in Combate Americas’<\/strong> return to Tucson, Arizona. Only two fighters were unable to make weight.<\/p>\n

The event was broadcast LIVE on Facebook Watch<\/strong>, and among those weighing in were Jose “Pochito” Alday<\/strong> <\/a>(135.0) and Juan Pablo “El Molo” Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong><\/a> (135.4). Both fighters, who will be the main event tomorrow night, made weight without any issues.<\/p>\n

Dominick Tim<\/strong><\/a> (147.4), however, arrived at the weigh-ins 1.4 pounds over the weight limit for his featherweight bout against Ivan Tena<\/strong><\/a> (144.8), who made weight without any problems. Tim<\/strong>, will be deducted 20% from his purse, which will be added to the purse of his opponent.<\/p>\n

The other fighter who couldn’t beat the scale was Joel Champion<\/strong><\/a> (194.8), who came over the limit of his catchweight fight (190 lbs.). 40 percent of his payment will be deducted and added to that of\u00a0 his opponent, Javier “Chunty Boy” Torres<\/strong> <\/a>(189.2), who made weight.<\/p>\n

\u201cCombate Americas: Tucson Unbreakable, presented by Cricket Wireless\u201d<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>will take place tomorrow at Casino del Sol<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Tucson<\/strong>, Arizona, and it will be broadcast for the United States in Spanish on\u00a0Univision<\/strong>\u00a0(12 am ET \/ PT) and UDN (12 am ET \/ 9 pm PT), and in English for the United States and Canada on\u00a0DAZN<\/strong>\u00a0(10 pm ET \/ 7 pm PT).<\/p>\n
