MIAMI <\/strong>\u2013 June 12, 2025 <\/strong>\u2013COMBATE GLOBAL today announced a pair of changes to i\u2019s previously announced \u2018Combate Female\u2019 all women\u2019s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight card that will stream live on YouTube worldwide as well as on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. on Thursday, June 19 at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT from Miami.<\/p>\n

The June 19 event, \u2018Combate Female\u2019, will stream live, worldwide, free-of-charge, and in both Spanish and English on Combate Global\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the live worldwide distribution of the event on YouTube, \u2018Combate Female\u2019 will also stream live in the U.S. on COMBATE GLOBAL\u2019s Spanish and English channels, respectively, on Samsung TV Plus.<\/p>\n

In a new strawweight (115 pounds) main event, previously announced, undefeated sensation Melissa \u201cMamba\u201d Amaya<\/strong> (7-0) will collide with Megumi Sugimoto<\/strong> (11-4-3).<\/p>\n

Bruna Ellen, Amaya\u2019s original opponent, was forced to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.<\/p>\n

Sugimoto is a 34-year-old former world championship challenger and former amateur wrestling star hailing from Yamagata, Yamagata, Japan.<\/p>\n

The Japanese fighter\u2019s best professional MMA result, to date, was winning the 2019 Infinity League, the annual competition promoted by Japanese organization Shooto.<\/p>\n

The matchup with Amaya of Spokane, Wash. will be Sugimoto\u2019s first start of 2025.<\/p>\n

The other new matchup announced today was a 110-pound catchweight bout between undefeated Melissa Gomez<\/strong> (3-0) of Santiago, Chile and Kelly Staddon<\/strong> (3-1).<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old Staddon of Manchester, England will replace Mariah Castro, who was also forced off the card due to an injury.<\/p>\n

Staddon, who holds a black belt in Judo and is a five-time British champion in that sport, is looking for her fourth consecutive MMA victory.<\/p>\n

In a previously announced, 130-pound catchweight co-main event, undefeated Regina \u201cKill Bill\u201d Tarin<\/strong> (5-0) of Mexico City, Mexico will collide with Kaytlin \u201cKatniss\u201d Neil<\/strong> (7-5) of Lehi, Utah.<\/p>\n

A previously announced, featured All-South American matchup in the flyweight (125 pounds) division will pit unbeaten, 23-year-old Karen \u201cKO\u201d Omen<\/strong> (1-0) of Timbio, Cauca, Colombia against multiple-time Shotokan Karate South American champion Katherinne \u201cLa Maldita\u201d Machuca <\/strong>(3-2) of Santiago, Chile.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Combate Female\u2019 event on June 19 will be the first of five consecutive, monthly COMBATE GLOBAL live television events that were announced last week and that will each take place on the third Thursday of every month through October.<\/p>\n
