She was scheduled to fight this Saturday, April 1, against Spain\u2019s Silvia Juaneda.<\/p>\n<p>However, Juaneda will compete against Quinn Williams.<\/p>\n<p>The fan favorite, Acosta injured herself about a week before the fight and currently has a cast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took some x-rays, and it showed that it is broken,\u201d she said. \u201cDoctor\u2019s told me that the bone didn\u2019t move. If it did it would have consisted of surgery, but it did not. He told me it could be six weeks until I get better,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Acosta was looking forward to compete three times this year, but she says she needs to be patient.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was ready, but things happen for a reason. It is time to learn other things and just look at it on a positive way,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Last September, Acosta defeated Mariel Celimen by way of unanimous decision in a heated contest.<\/p>\n<p>She expects to be ready to go around July.
