Reality series winner, Martin Bravo; undefeated Daniela Hernandez; and Ernesto Ibarra all signed to new, exclusive, <\/strong>multi-fight promotional agreements with Combate Global<\/strong><\/p>\n

Miami <\/strong>\u2013 March 22, 2023 <\/strong>\u2013 Combate Global today announced the re-signing of four Mexican Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) superstars, including the world\u2019s number one atomweight (105 pounds) competitor, Ana \u201cLa Guerrera\u201d Palacios<\/strong> (7-1-1), to exclusive, multi-fight promotional agreements.<\/p>\n

In addition to the 24-year-old Palacios of Mexico City, Combate Global has re-signed The Ultimate Fighter \u2013 Latin America 3<\/em> competition reality series winner and featherweight (145 pounds), Martin \u201cEl Toro\u201d Bravo<\/strong><\/a> (13-3); undefeated atomweight Daniela \u201cTiny Mexa\u201d Hernandez<\/strong><\/a> (4-0) and flyweight (125 pounds) contender, Ernesto \u201cThe Stallion\u201d Ibarra<\/strong> (7-1).<\/p>\n

\u201cCombate Global has put Mexican fighters first in our organization, and has always had an appreciation for Mexico and the country\u2019s warrior culture that has produced some of the world\u2019s best fighters, so we are excited to continue watching these fighters build their respective careers under the promotion of Combate Global,\u201d said Combate Global CEO Campbell McLaren.<\/p>\n

Over 30 percent of Combate Global\u2019s roster of fight talent hails from various parts of Mexico.<\/p>\n

Palacios has staked her claim as the world\u2019s best fighter in her weight division, defeating each of her last five opponents.<\/p>\n

In her last start, Palacios, a prodigy of renowned fight team, Bonebreakers, pulled off an incredible comeback against South Korean star Bo Hyun Park, absorbing a slew of strikes from Park before suddenly securing an armbar and forcing the Korean competitor to tap out at the 3:15 mark of the opening round of action.<\/p>\n

Palacios\u2019 only defeat to date came on March 15, 2019, a fight for which her opponent weighed in over the weight limit for the fight.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Bravo of Tijuana, B.C. was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter \u2013 Latin America 3 <\/em>in 2016.<\/p>\n

A knee injury prohibited Bravo from competing in 2022 but, after joining the Combate Global roster the year prior, he made quick work of American standout fighters Andrew Whitney and Jose \u201cFroggy\u201d Estrada, respectively, scoring a first round (1:09) TKO on Whitney on September 17, and a first round (1:14) submission (armbar) on Estrada on December 3.<\/p>\n

Hernandez is a 27-year-old native of Monterrey, N.L., and a two-year veteran of the professional fight game. After winning each of her first two professional bouts in 2021, she continued her success last year, with back-to-back victories.<\/p>\n

At 26 years old, Ibarra of Ensenada, B.C. is arguably the number one flyweight (125 pounds) competitor in the world.<\/p>\n

Ibarra will look to close his third straight victory when he steps into La Jaula for the first time in 2023, following two straight unanimous decision wins over fellow Mexican Gerardo Graniel and Argentinian scrapper, Pablo Caballero, respectively.<\/p>\n

Ibarra\u2019s only defeat to date occurred on June 29, 2021 when he fought in the bantamweight (135 pounds) division, one weight class higher than his natural weight, against Alan \u201cBeche\u201d Cantu, a natural bantamweight, and was rendered the loser of the fight by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n
