MIAMI\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0March 15, 2023\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Combate Global today announced a complete, five-fight Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight lineup, streaming live on Paramount+ from Miami, Fla. on Saturday, March 18.<\/p>\n

The live Paramount+ stream will begin at 9:30 p.m. ET\/8:30 p.m. CT with a pre-fight show hosted by Combate Global announcers Jimmy Smith and Rodolfo Roman, and continue with the first preliminary card bout at 10:00 p.m. ET\/9:00 p.m. CT.<\/p>\n

The card will be highlighted by three featured bouts, including a featherweight (145 pounds) clash between two young trailblazers in\u00a0Ivan \u201cThe Titan\u201d Tena<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(4-1) and\u00a0Pablo \u201cPredator\u201d Burgos<\/strong>\u00a0(4-1).<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old Tena, who hails from Phoenix, Ariz. is one of Combate Global\u2019s most promising new stars whose resume includes a 10-second knockout and, who prior to his last appearance, had defeated all of his opponents inside of two rounds.<\/p>\n

Tena\u2019s last fight, a matchup with Mexican knockout artist Roberto \u201cEl Charro Negro\u201d Romero on August 19, 2022, was a thrilling see-saw battle and a \u201cFight of the Year\u201d candidate that went the distance before Romero was awarded a split decision.<\/p>\n

Burgos is a 26-year-old Combate Global newcomer who hails from Santiago, Chile, and enters La Jaula, the Combate Global competition cage, for the first time, in the midst of a four-fight win streak.<\/p>\n

In a featured welterweight (170 pounds) battle, unbeaten\u00a0Jimmie \u201cJimbo Slice\u201d Pace, Jr.<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(1-0) will represent the U.S. and take on Mexico\u2019s heavy-handed\u00a0Jose Matuz<\/strong>\u00a0(2-2).<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old Pace, Jr., also known as \u201cBig Bucks,\u201d hails from Miami, and is a former professional football player turned aspiring MMA champion who trains out of Goat Shed Academy.<\/p>\n

A former undefeated amateur, Pace, Jr. made his professional debut last November 4, scoring a TKO (punches) on Albert \u201cBig Al\u201d Gonzales, a veteran of seven professional fights, in just one minute into the first round of action.<\/p>\n

Matuz is a 25-year-old native of Guadalajara, J.L., and a two-time Combate Global competitor who holds an even 1-1 record in La Jaula.<\/p>\n

In his Combate Global promotional debut last April 22, Matuz made quick work of Chris Renteria, scoring a first round (3:51) TKO (punches) on the American.<\/p>\n

In featured women\u2019s action, undefeated\u00a0Valentina Moriel<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(3-0) will collide with\u00a0Aitana Alvarez<\/strong>\u00a0(2-4) at a catchweight of 120 pounds.<\/p>\n

At 24 years of age, Moriel of Santiago\u00a0 put herself on the map in 2022, winning each of her first three professional starts.<\/p>\n

Her last start on December 10, 2022 saw Moriel score a first round TKO (punches) on Lucero Valkiria.<\/p>\n

Alvarez is a 23-year-old native of San Sebastian, Spain.\u00a0 She will look to rebound from a split decision loss to Gillian Noll in a Combate Global fight on October 7, 2022.<\/p>\n

Leading off the Combate Global preliminary bout card will be a flyweight (125 pounds) contest between\u00a0\u201cMalicious\u201d Michael Reyes<\/strong>\u00a0(8-5) of Oxnard, Calif. and\u00a0Enrique \u201cLa Pesadilla\u201d Pacheco<\/strong>\u00a0(6-1) of Santiago.<\/p>\n

Also in undercard action will be Combate Global\u2019s 2021 \u201cComeback of the Year\u201d award winner,\u00a0Max \u201cSteel\u201d Gonzalez<\/strong>\u00a0(4-2) of Mexico City, Mexico.\u00a0 Gonzalez will take on\u00a0Eduardo Anaya<\/strong>\u00a0(3-2) of Houston, Texas at bantamweight (135 pounds).<\/p>\n
