Miami, FL<\/strong>– Mexico\u2019s Cristian \u201cP\u00faas\u201d P\u00e9rez<\/a> (11-1) steam rolled through victory defeating Colombia\u2019s Gilber Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez (10-6) by way of submission in the second round in Combate Globals\u2019s last show of 2022 CG 2022 November 18: Perez vs Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez.<\/p>\n

Also, Maritza Sanchez<\/a> (4-1) defeated Dee Begley (3-2) by way of TKO at 2:45 in the first round.<\/p>\n

Right from the start, Perez looked for the quick knockout victory by going for the flying knee, however, Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez blocked it. Perez quickly took the fight to the ground where the remainder of the fight remained.<\/p>\n

Perez searched for a submission but Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez survived the onslaught and made it to the second round.<\/p>\n

In the second chapter, Perez boxed with Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez and landed a few good shots that shook his foe. That\u2019s where Perez shifted gears and took the fight to the ground where Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez, who has had many fights overseas, just couldn\u2019t find a break.<\/p>\n

Perez again searched for the arm triangle where he locked it forcing Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez to tap at 3:26 in the second round.<\/p>\n

In the co main event, Sanchez was too much for Begley her striking was too fast for for the Irish woman.<\/p>\n

With a background in kickboxing, Begley just couldn\u2019t keep Sanchez away. She exchanged in the pocket but Sanchez was too powerful. It took all but one round to land a flurry of punches but it was a shot to the body that just took Begley out forcing the referee to step in and stop the fight at in the first round.<\/p>\n

Mexican Ovidio Boj\u00f3rquez (3-1) continued to wreck his opponents in an impressive fashion defeating Puerto Rican Eddie Perez (2-2) by way of TKO at 1:42 in the first round.<\/p>\n

The fight started off with both fighters feeling each other, however, in the exchange it was Ovidio who had the upper hand viciously. But he landed consistent knees in the clinch that wounded both of Perez\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n

Referee stopped the fight to have the doctor check on Perez.
\nAfter checking the damage, the doctor informed the referee Perez was in no condition to continue.<\/p>\n

CG 2022 November 18: Perez vs Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perez defeated Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez by way of arm triangle submission at 3:26 in the second round.
\nSanchez defeated Begley by way of KO at 2:45 in the first round.
\nBoj\u00f3rquez defeated Perez by way of TKO at 1:42 in the first round.
\nRichie Palomino defeated Alejandro Velasco by way of arm triangle submission at 1:28 in the third round.
\nNatalie Schlesinger defeated Jharley Reyes by way of unanimous decision.<\/p>\n
