Miami, FL<\/strong>– Jose \u201cChepe Machine Gun\u201d Mariscal<\/a> (12-6) had a memorial Combate Global debut defeating Jordan Beltran<\/a> (11-7) by way of technical knockout at 29 seconds in the second round of the main event of CG 2022 July 22: Beltran vs Mariscal.<\/p>\n

Also, Canadian Katie Saull (5-5) put an end to Chile\u2019s Gloria Bravo\u2019s two fight win streak defeating her by way of unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Beltran vs Mariscal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beltran capitalized on a Mariscal, when he inadvertently fell due to losing his footing. Beltran quickly worked from the guard and landed shots, however, Mariscal stayed patient, scrambled and escaped.<\/p>\n

He later flipped the page and Mariscal landed heavy hands, pinning Beltran to la jaula, changed levels and took the fight to the floor. With 30 seconds left. Mariscal landed shots from the guard and a short time later the bell rang.<\/p>\n

Right at the start of the second round, Mariscal shot some hand combinations and when Beltran least expected, he was met by a question mark kick. Mariscal followed with a punch, but the referee hand seen enough.<\/p>\n

Bravo vs Saull<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the co-main event, Bravo kept pushing the pushing the pace landing inside shots working Saull\u2019s body. However, the difference in the fight was Saull\u2019s takedowns, which didn\u2019t favor Bravo.<\/p>\n

Every time, Saull took Bravo, she landed forearms, hammer fists, and bravo just couldn\u2019t answer. It was enough to impress the judges and award the Canadian her first victory inside la jaula.<\/p>\n

Monta\u00f1o vs Sandlin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mixed martial arts veteran Erick \u201cPerry\u201d Monta\u00f1o (9-7) also achieved his first for Combate Global by way of unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Sandlin traded blows with Monta\u00f1o, however, the Mexican was a standing punching machine. Every time the American would go toe-to-toe, Monta\u00f1o had the upper hand. In fact midflight, Sandlin was busted open under his left eye.<\/p>\n

Monta\u00f1o\u2019s experience and hands, where just too much for the energetic Sandlin.<\/p>\n

Jose Mariscal defeated Jordan Beltran by way of TKO in the second round at 29 seconds.<\/p>\n

Katie Saull defeated Gloria Bravo by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Erick Monta\u00f1o defeated Jimmy Sandlin by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Morales defeated Alexander Sanchez by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Erik Mendez defeated Abanoub Fares by TKO in the first round at 2:39.<\/p>\n
