ANA \u201cLA GUERRERA\u201d PALACIOS (MEXICO) VS. BO HYUN KIM (SOUTH KOREA)<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW YORK <\/strong>\u2013 July 11, 2022 <\/strong>\u2013 Combate Global today announced a five-fight Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) lineup for Friday, July 15, live on television in the U.S. on Univision (12 a.m. ET\/PT) and TUDN (12 a.m. ET\/9 p.m. PT) from Miami, Fla.<\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s atomweight (105 pounds) main event, world-ranked Mexican battler Ana \u201cLa Guerrera\u201d Palacios<\/strong> <\/a>(6-1-1) will face fellow fast-rising star and Korean champion Bo Hyun Park<\/strong> (4-1).<\/p>\n

The matchup between Palacios and Park was originally scheduled and announced for the Combate Global event on July 1, but was scratched from the show due to COVID-19 protocols.<\/p>\n

Palacios is a 23-year-old native of Mexico City where she is a member of the renowned Bonebreakers MMA team that is also home to reigning Combate Global World Bantamweight Champion David \u201cThe Black Spartan\u201d Martinez.<\/p>\n

Palacios will look for her third straight win in what will be her first start of 2022, after a pair of strong performances in 2021. In her last effort on July 23, 2021, Palacios submitted Chile\u2019s Gloria Bravos with a keylock in the second round (1:24) of battle.<\/p>\n

Also 23 years of age, Palacios\u2019 opponent, Park, hails from Seoul and is a reigning atomweight champion in South Korea.Park is an aggressive striker, who likes exchanging punches and kicks with opponents, but is also well-versed on the ground, as evidenced by her last two bouts, each of which she finished with a rear-naked choke submission.<\/p>\n

In a featured featherweight (145 pounds) contest, Muay Thai champion Carlos \u201cEl Diamante\u201d Guerra<\/strong> (11-10) of Mexico City will face fellow hard-hitting striker Jean Marc \u201cKokito\u201d Howell<\/strong> (13-7) of Oranjestad, Aruba.<\/p>\n

The main card will be rounded out with a 150-pound catchweight contest between Ruben \u201cEl Diamante\u201d Lozano<\/strong> (9-6) of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico and fellow battle-tested veteran Marcos \u201cEl Matador\u201d Bonilla<\/strong> (5-7) of Van Nuys, Calif.<\/p>\n

In a women\u2019s flyweight (125 pounds) attraction on the undercard, Flore Hani <\/strong>(4-1) of Papeete, Tahiti, France via Irvine, Calif. will take on Maira Mazar<\/strong> (7-4) of Las Vegas, Nev.<\/p>\n

Georgie Medina<\/strong> (1-0) of Chicago, Ill. will battle fellow unbeaten prospect Antonio \u201cPenton\u201d Noda<\/strong> (1-0) of Miami, Fla. at welterweight (170 pounds).<\/p>\n
