Miami, FL<\/strong>– After falling short of winning an eight-man tournament in November, mixed martial arts top prospect Cristian \u201cPuas\u201d Perez<\/a> (8-1) said he learned from his lone loss and the defeat is now in the past.<\/p>\n

Combate Global\u2019s (CG) very own fighter and commentator Eduardo \u201cEl Pube\u201d Alvardo sat down to speak to Cristian \u201cPuas\u201d Perez, 22, about his life as a fighter, his up bringing and what fans can anticipate in 2022.<\/p>\n

Perez entered the eight-man November USA vs Mexico tournament undefeated, until Enqrique \u201cbaby bull\u201d Gonzalez defeated the 22-year-old by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Although it was his first loss in his professional career, Perez said the defeat was not a set back but a motivation.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany people sent me messages, but for me I always heard it from my parents a champion is not one who always wins. It is one who falls and finds a way to climb to the top to become champion. That\u2019s the life I want to accomplish.\u201d<\/p>\n
