Miami, Fla- Cristian \u201cPuas\u201d Perez<\/a> (5-0) extending his undefeated streak to five by submitting Brian \u201cThe Bad Boy\u201d Del Rosario (5-5) by way of rear naked choke at 2:49 in the first round.<\/p>\n

The main event of Combate Global\u2019s May 21, 2021 fight card had Perez opening the first round throwing a heavy right had that dropped Del Rosario to the ground.<\/p>\n

While on the ground, Perez landed punches and elbows leaving del Rosario defenseless leaving an opening for an opportunity of a rear naked choke.<\/p>\n

A bloody del Rosario tapped out.<\/p>\n

CO-MAIN EVENT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the co-main event, both Daniel Matos (6-8) defeated Danny Ramirez (5-3) by way of split decision.<\/p>\n

In the first round, both warriors unleashed hard hitting combinations, but in the latter part of the first episode, Ramirez hit a spinning back fight that left Matos bloodied.<\/p>\n

In the second round, Ramirez and Matos continued with the same action. But towards the end of the round, Ramirez landed a spinning back elbow.<\/p>\n

The judges awarded Matos the victory as Ramirez went into the last round with less energy compared to the earlier rounds.<\/p>\n

WOMEN’S BOUT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In a women’s featured bout, Mariel Celiman (1-0) defeated Blanca Marquez (0-1) by way of split decision.<\/p>\n

Perez is coming off a 29-second submission victory of Geraldo Almonte back on April 23. The young lightweight is ready for more competition.<\/p>\n

The Peruvian\/Venezuelan Edir Terry (7-4) finished off his opponent Carlos Puentes Jr. (6-5) by way of TKO (Elbows) at 3:31 in the third round.<\/p>\n

Both first and second round featured kicks and punches with Terry surprising Puentes by going for takedowns.<\/p>\n

However, Terry worked from the ground and pound where he landed vicious elbows leading referee Alan Abeles to stop the fight.<\/p>\n
