Sexy Star Dulce Garcia has kept busy during the pandemic taking on new challenges and careers.<\/p>\n
The Mexican pro wrestler turned mixed martial artist will compete against Claudia Diaz (0-2) \u00a0at the upcoming all women fight card Combate Global\u2019s Combate Latina\u00a0airing live on\u00a0live on television in the U.S. on Univision (12:30 am ET\/PT) and TUDN USA (12:30 a.m. ET\/9:30 p.m. PT), and in Mexico on Televisa Canal 5 (11:30 p.m. local time) on Friday, April 30 from Univision\u2019s studios in Miami, Fla.<\/p>\n
Garcia last competed inside la jauala back in December 2019 earning a victory against Anali Lopez Hernandez via submission in the first round at 2:47.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been trying to stay busy, training and I\u2019ve been in contact with loved ones even if it is via video chat,\u201d she said. \u201cLike many of us, I have been throw many emotional stages and some anxiety, but my faith and love from loved ones and sport help me pull through.\u201d<\/p>\n
For the upcoming fight, she has remained disciplined.<\/p>\n
\u201cStaying in shape without a team is tough,\u201d she said. \u201cBut I have learned a lot about myself as an athlete and to prepare myself. I have been taking courses online to learn about training techniques and nutrition. I am studying to be a coach and I owe to being isolated.\u201d<\/p>\n
Aside from studying, she runs an online business, XPGAIN, dedicated to selling sporting based products such as supplements.<\/p>\n
Some of the proceeds are donated to athletes in need.<\/p>\n
With a full women\u2019s fight card, she feels grateful.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel very fortunate and proud to be surrounded by women that have worked hard on their bodies, mind and heart to open up in a sport dominated by men until recently and it shows our strength,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
As for her coming bout, she is ready for battle.<\/p>\n
