Mixed Martial\u00a0 Arts (MMA) event at Freeman Coliseum on Friday, March 27, live on television in the U.S. in Spanish on both Univision (12 a.m. ET\/PT) and TUDN USA (12 a.m. ET\/9 p.m. PT), and in English on AXS TV (10 p.m. ET\/7\u00a0 p.m. PT), and in Mexico on Televisa Canal 5 (11 p.m. local time).<\/p>\n<p>Priced from $18, tickets for the TS-1 Promotions-hosted Combate Americas world championship event are on sale at Ticketmaster.com.<\/p>\n<p>In the main event announced today, <strong>Andre Barquero<\/strong> (7-2) \u00a0will square off with <strong>Victor \u201cPeriquito\u201d Madrigal<\/strong> (8-3) for the Combate Americas interim world bantamweight (135 pounds) championship.<\/p>\n<p>Barquero of San Pedro, Costa Rica is a prolific, 24-year-old submission ace who has won seven of his last eight starts, with six of the victories coming by way of (T)KO or submission.<\/p>\n<p>The matchup will mark Barquero\u2019s second appearance in San Antonio, where he notched his last win, a third round (4:38) submission (rear-naked choke) of contender <strong>Eduardo \u201cEl Pube\u201d Alvarado<\/strong> in Combate Americas live televised action last November 8.<\/p>\n<p>The 29-year-old Madrigal of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico has produced several thrilling highlights in La Jaula, the Combate Americas competition cage, beginning with his <a href=\"https:\/\/mmajunkie.usatoday.com\/2018\/10\/video-combate-americas-insane-armbar-by-victor-madrigal-commentator-f-bomb\">third round (2:14) submission (rear-naked choke)<\/a> of <strong>Christian \u201cEl Taylon\u201d Qui<\/strong><strong>\u00f1<\/strong><strong>onez<\/strong> that Madrigal pulled off after an epic, see-saw battle in Guadalajara on October 26, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>On the heels of this career-best victory, Madrigal returned to Combate Americas action last March 8 and scored a thunderous, second round (3:50) TKO (punches) on Spain\u2019s <strong>Zebenzui Ruiz<\/strong>, earning a victory for Mexico on the \u2018Mexico vs. Spain\u2019 card.<\/p>\n<p>In a featured lightweight (155 pounds) matchup announced today, <strong>Angel \u201cTito\u201d Cruz<\/strong> (6-4) will face off with <strong>Raymond Guzman<\/strong> (0-0).<\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old Cruz is coming off a stunning, first round (:49) submission (keylock) of <strong>Ariel Juarez<\/strong> at Combate Americas last November 1.<\/p>\n<p>Fighting out of Austin, Texas, Guzman is a 30-year-old professional boxer with a 3-3 record in the squared circle.\u00a0 He will make his professional MMA debut after 18 months of crossover training.<\/p>\n<p>The Combate Americas live television event will also feature the promotional debut of women\u2019s upstart and San Antonio-based prospect, <strong>Rainn \u201cThe Bully\u201d Guerrero<\/strong> (1-0), who will face an opponent to be determined, at a catchweight of 130 pounds.<\/p>\n<p>In a second women\u2019s bout, amateur MMA and boxing star <strong>Marisa \u201cEl D<\/strong><strong>\u00ed<\/strong><strong>ne\u201d Chavez<\/strong> (0-0) of Albuquerque, N.M. will make her much-anticipated professional debut against <strong>Krista Camarillo<\/strong> (0-0) of Altus, Okla.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere on the card, a welterweight (170 pounds) contest will see <strong>Raymond \u201cThe Executioner\u201d Banda<\/strong> (7-3) of Harlingen, Texas take on <strong>David Herrera<\/strong> (4-4-1) of San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eduardo \u201cEl Pube\u201d Alvarado<\/strong> (8-6) of Tijuana, B.C., Mexico will battle <strong>Justin \u201cThe Therapist\u201d Governale <\/strong>(7-7) of San Antonio at bantamweight.<\/p>\n<p>San Antonio rivals <strong>Michael Martinez<\/strong> (1-1) and <strong>Roy Sarabia<\/strong> (1-2) will face off at featherweight (145 pounds).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jose Holguin<\/strong> (0-0) of San Antonio will\u00a0 make his professional debut against <strong>Ricardo Maynez<\/strong> (0-1) of El Paso, Texas at bantamweight.<\/p>\n<p>A flyweight (125 pounds) affair will pit <strong>David Miramontes<\/strong> (4-5) of San Antonio against <strong>Omar
